Payment Options for Past Due Balances

A review of your account shows that you have past due balances, which makes the account eligible for disconnection for non-payment. We want to ensure that you are aware of a Disconnection Notice sent to you prior to the storm and that you have an opportunity to get caught up on your account. As part of your community, we are committed to helping you through this.
What options do I have if I can’t pay my bill?
For short-term payment assistance, you can take advantage of Payment Arrangements, which allow you up to 10 additional days from the disconnection notice due date if the payment arrangement is set-up before that due date.
You may also qualify for a Deferred Payment Plan (DPP), which allows you to pay your balance owed in monthly installments along with your regular monthly bill when a down payment is made.

For additional assistance with your payment, the Texas Department of Health and Human Services has information on the many assistance options for food, health, housing, and more (including electricity) here. Charities and other governmental agencies can pledge to make payments on behalf of qualified customers.
