At Just Energy, we understand that customers may need assistance or additional time to pay their energy bill. There are several assistance and pledge options available from agencies and charities. For more information click here .
Just Energy offers two different options that give you, our valued customer, additional time to pay your bill without fear of disconnection:
- Payment Arrangements allow for extra time beyond your original due date when a down payment is paid. If you have received a disconnection notice, you will still be responsible for late fees but can receive up to 10 additional days from your disconnection notice due date as long as the payment arrangement is set-up before that date. - Deferred Payment Plans (DPP) allow a you to pay the balance that is owed in installments along with your regular monthly bill. If you have received a disconnection notice, you are still responsible for late fees and must set-up a DPP before your disconnection notice due date. (Click here for more details )
