Yes. When you switch to Just Energy from another provider, your service continues seamlessly. In most cases, you won’t experience any interruptions because your local utility still delivers power to your home. Just Energy handles the switch for you, making it simple and stress-free.

New Just Energy customers in Texas can receive a bill credit for up to $150 as a reimbursement of your current provider’s cancellation fees. To qualify, you must:

  1. Be a new Just Energy customer in Texas.
  2. Have a 12-month or longer term agreement.
  3. Send a copy of your previous provider’s final bill showing the cancellation fee within 90 days of enrollment to customersupport@justenergy.com, our mailing address at C/O Cancellation Fee Reimbursement Program 5251 Westheimer Road, Suite 1000, Houston, TX 77056, or via fax at 888-548-7690.

Yes. Just Energy offers several renewable and sustainable green energy options that make it easy to reduce your environmental impact. Through programs like JustGreen Power and JustGreen Natural Gas, we purchase renewable energy credits (RECs) or carbon offsets on your behalf to support clean, renewable sources like wind, solar, and hydro.

JustGreen Natural Gas is not offered in Texas.

Disclaimers

  1. Just Energy will help you find a plan that fits your needs. Please note that new plans will come with a new contract and the end date of the new contract will change to reflect the terms of the new plan. There is no fee to make a plan change, but you will be subjected to the terms and conditions of the new plan as an existing customer.
  2. While Just Energy does not charge any fees for transferring services within Texas, please check with your utility for potential additional charges. In the event of a utility change due to relocation, you must choose a new plan.
  3. Stat Rewards program is valid for Texas customers only. Upon acceptance, you will receive a half-cent ($0.005) discount per kWh used within 1 – 2 billing cycles. This discount will remain if your thermostat stays connected and you remain active in the program. You will also receive a $50 bill credit within 90 days of acceptance. You must own an approved Amazon or Honeywell thermostat to be eligible and maintain an active status in the Connected Savings ® platform. View the list of approved thermostats here.
  4. Cancellation Fee Reimbursement: We will reimburse up to $150 of the cancellation fee charged by your previous electric provider. This promotion only applies to term agreements 12 months or greater and must be repaid to Just Energy if you switch away within 12 months of starting your Agreement. The final bill from your previous electric provider showing their cancellation fee must be submitted within 90 days of enrollment. Reimbursement will appear as a bill credit after your first full service period bill with Just Energy is paid in full. Please send a copy of your previous electric provider’s bill that includes their cancellation fee, in one of the following ways: 1) Email – customersupport@justenergy.com, 2) Mail – C/O Cancellation Fee Reimbursement Program, 5251 Westheimer Road, Suite 1000, Houston, TX 77056, or 3) Fax – 888-548-7690
  5. Energy discounts are only available to Texas customers. GoodBundle subscription benefits—including up to a 1¢/kWh credit on an energy plan, waived late payment fees, disconnection notice fee protection, and discounts through HomeWater, LifeMart, and Ting. —vary by subscription tier and are subject to applicable terms and change.
